1) Eligibility

To qualify for a wholesale account with Garden Egg Chair (“we”, “us”):

  • You must operate a registered retail business (brick-and-mortar and/or online).
  • Personal-use purchases are not permitted.
  • Reselling on third-party marketplaces (e.g., Amazon, eBay, Etsy, OnBuy) is prohibited unless we give prior written consent.
  • We reserve the right to approve, deny, suspend, or cancel any wholesale application or order at our discretion.

Application requirements (minimum):

  • Company name, registered number, VAT number (if applicable)
  • Trading address & billing address
  • Website URL(s) and sales channels
  • Contact person & role
  • Estimated first order value / annual volume

2) Pricing & Discounts

  • Prices are displayed in GBP (£).
  • Wholesale pricing is available only to approved accounts for resale.
  • Promotional or bulk purchases outside approved terms may be refused or re-priced.
  • Additional discounts (beyond wholesale rates) are not normally available, except during agreed promotions or contract terms.
  • Orders placed with unauthorised discount codes may be cancelled.

MAP/RRP Compliance: Retailers must not advertise below our stated Minimum Advertised Price (MAP) or Recommended Retail Price (RRP) without written approval.

3) Payment Terms

  • All orders are payable in full, upfront, prior to shipment (Pro-forma).
  • We accept Google Pay, American Express, Discover, Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, JCB and Klarna (subject to status). Bank transfer may be available on request.
  • Title to goods passes on receipt of full payment. Risk transfers on delivery.

4) Order Processing & Fulfilment

  • Processing time: typically 1–2 business days after payment is received.
  • We ship from our UK fulfilment centres.
  • Free UK shipping applies to wholesale orders placed via our website (confirm you want this – many brands set a threshold). Otherwise, shipping will be quoted at cost.
  • Import duties, taxes, and brokerage fees for non-UK orders are the retailer’s responsibility.

5) Shipping, Risk & Loss

  • We use tracked services. Tracking will be provided upon dispatch.
  • Risk of loss passes to you on delivery to your address or nominated carrier.
  • You are responsible for accurate shipping details; redelivery fees may apply if parcels are returned to us.

6) Returns, Damages & Shortages

  • Inspect deliveries immediately. Report damages, shortages, or discrepancies within 5 days of receipt to wholesale@gardeneggchair.co.uk with photos/videos.
  • All items are QC-checked before dispatch. We will repair, replace, or credit at our discretion for verified defects/damage.
  • Change-of-mind returns are not accepted on wholesale orders unless agreed in writing (a restocking fee may apply).
  • Returns must be authorised (RMA) before shipping back to us.

7) Warranty

Wholesale purchases carry our standard 12-month manufacturer’s warranty against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use. Warranty excludes misuse, improper assembly, neglect, weather damage without covers, wear and tear, and unauthorised modifications. See our Warranty & Replacement Policy for full details.

8) Intellectual Property & Brand Use

  • You may use our product images, copy, and brand assets solely to market and sell genuine Garden Egg Chair products you purchase from us.
  • Do not register or bid on our trademarks, brand names, or confusingly similar domains/handles.
  • We may revoke asset usage rights at any time.

9) Channel Restrictions

  • No sales on marketplaces (including Amazon, eBay, Etsy) unless we give written approval.
  • If approved, you must adhere to all MAP/RRP, content, and brand integrity guidelines we provide.

10) Cancellation & Order Changes

  • We may cancel or amend orders at our discretion (pricing errors, suspected fraud, credit issues, stock issues).
  • You may request a cancellation before dispatch; once dispatched, standard returns rules apply.

11) Confidentiality

All wholesale pricing, terms, marketing materials, and operational data shared with you are confidential and may not be disclosed to third parties without our written consent.

12) Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Wholesale Policies are governed by the laws of England & Wales. The courts of England & Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes.
