This Billing Policy explains how we handle pricing, payments, billing information, fraud checks, refunds, and order limits when you purchase from https://gardeneggchair.co.uk (“Website”). It should be read together with our Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, Refund & Return Policy, Shipping Policy, and Warranty Policy.
1) Who we are
Garden Egg Chair is a trading name of FURNITURE STAR LIMITED (VAT Number: GB 291869452), registered at 29 Ystrad Road, Fforestfach, Swansea, Wales, SA5 4LH, United Kingdom.
2) Prices, Currency & Taxes
- All prices are listed in GBP (£).
- Prices include/exclude VAT where indicated. [Add your VAT number if registered.]

3) Accepted Payment Methods
We currently accept: American Express, Discover, Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, JCB and Klarna (and any other methods you actually support, e.g. Apple Pay/Google Pay).
All payments are processed securely by PCI DSS–compliant payment processors.
4) SSL/TLS & PCI DSS Compliance
We use SSL/TLS encryption across checkout to protect your data. Our payment partners are Level 1 PCI DSS compliant (the highest level). We do not store full card numbers or CVVs on our servers.
5) Authorisation, Captures & Statement Descriptor
- Your card/payment method may be authorised at checkout. We capture (charge) funds when your order is confirmed/dispatches.
- Your bank statement may show “FURNITURE STAR LIMITED / Garden Egg Chair” (or similar).
6) Accuracy of Billing & Account Information (Section 6)
You agree to provide current, complete and accurate billing, shipping, and account information for all purchases. You must promptly update your payment details, addresses, email, and phone number so we can process your transactions and contact you if needed.
We reserve the right to refuse, limit, or cancel any order you place with us. This may include limits on quantities per person, household, or order (including those placed under the same account, same card, or using the same billing/shipping address). If we change or cancel an order, we may attempt to notify you via the email, billing address, or phone number provided at checkout.
We also reserve the right to block orders that, in our sole judgment, appear to be placed by dealers, resellers, or distributors.
7) Fraud Screening & Verification
To protect our customers and our business, we use automated and manual anti-fraud checks. We may request additional verification (e.g., proof of address/ID) before accepting or shipping an order. Orders that fail verification may be cancelled and refunded.
8) Refunds, Chargebacks & Disputes
- Refunds are handled according to our Refund & Return Policy and statutory consumer rights (e.g., the 30-day right to cancel under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations).
- Refunds are issued to the original payment method.
- If you believe there is a billing error, please contact us first at support@gardeneggchair.co.uk. Raising a chargeback without contacting us may delay resolution.
9) Invoices & Records
You’ll receive an order confirmation email after checkout and a dispatch email when your order ships. If you need an invoice or VAT invoice, contact support@gardeneggchair.co.uk.
We retain transaction data as required by accounting and tax law (typically 6 years in the UK).
